Privacy

We built onboard.wiki with a simple rule: treat users the way we want to be treated. That means no tracking, no creepy data collection, and no surprise opt-ins.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not set cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or any third-party tracker. We do not store your IP address, your browser fingerprint, or your reading history.

What stays on your device

Your lesson progress and persona choice are stored only in your browser's localStorage. That means:

  • We cannot see it.
  • It never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.
  • Clearing your browser data resets your progress. That's the trade-off for zero signups.

Analytics

We use Plausible, a privacy-first analytics tool. It counts aggregate page views without cookies, without personal identifiers, and without tracking you across the web. We see "100 people visited /p/office-worker today." We do not see "Aaron from Ohio visited 7 times."

AI interactions

We never proxy your AI interactions. Every prompt we suggest is typed by you into your account on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or whatever tool you choose. Your conversations stay on their platforms under their respective terms. We never see them, store them, or process them.
